The old free will discussion is a bit annoying but obviously important for all of us. The supposed lack of free will was famously summed up by Schopenhauer when he conjectured, “Man can do what he wants, but he cannot will what he wants.”
Michael Singer countered that claim of human bondage when he was talking to inmates and asked them whether they could resist checking out Miss Universe walking in naked, and they all agreed they couldn’t. But what if you got a pardon and a million dollars? Suddenly they all claimed they could!
(Wo)man can do what s(he) wants, and s(he) can will what s(he) wants if the incentives are appropriate. That’s really spiritual living in a nutshell, picking the tribe that resonates, picking a purposeful job, surrounding oneself with high vibration energies. We may not have free will, but God’s Will prevails.
