When you meet a more advanced soul you feel light in her presence. There is an ease of being around her. Everyone has these moment of pure being, what makes the advanced souls special is the consistency of achieving this feat.
The iceberg approach to spirituality is the realization that our consciousness is a mere fraction of what we are all about; most of what drives us and what we are all about is hidden in the subconscious. Let’s recognize our drift!
When it comes to spiritual advancement the best working hypothesis is that we already are free; what we still have to do though is to be mindful if our personal energy and subconscious agenda conflicts with the universal energy.
The intellect writes spiritual lectures, but we have to bring our whole being along, not just the conscious desire to be enlightened. I recommend taking more interest in our life’s events and our company. They show us the Way.
It is fine to have preferred spiritual teachers or preferred spiritual practices to advance in your spiritual quest. Your subconscious connected you so there must be some associated merit. Yet life is your teacher. Learn to flow!
