Open heart, open eyes, open mind

There are countless possible realities floating around dependent on how we approach the situation at hand. Say we walk into a meeting with a defensive attitude and feel that the person we are about to shake hands with doesn’t like us very much, we will be bound to create a conflict-ridden environment. In contrast, let’s say we see that the person we meet doesn’t look very happy, but we do not assume anything and figure that he is probably a nice person who maybe had a difficult day. In our, “How are you?”, there will be compassion that likely speaks to him. Immediately the situation is defused.

You see, there are countless realities possible dependent on how our “thought-feeling” energy gets triggered but there is only one truth. The Zen community aims to see the world as is. The non-duality community aims to filter out all “thought-feeling” energies that center around the psychological I and let it pass into nothingness. Lastly, the Course in Miracles aims to teach us “right-minded” thinking that starts with understanding, compassion and love to the exclusion of everything else. Truth is, and with an open heart, open eyes and an open mind, can be accessed by everyone.
