Spot the limitation and abundance

The other day someone pointed out to me that the root of the word “obey”, which is frequently used in the Bible, doesn’t have the narrow interpretation we assign it today. Instead, it suggests “listen as if heard from the far”. That’s the definition of Consciousness all right. It’s hard, if not impossible, to convey the state of That. It’s equally hard to always be connected to the Force. But yes, inner silence is a necessary condition. Let’s be quiet in order to “listen so that we can hear from the far.”

I equate Consciousness with an energy that we can see, feel and sense. Unfortunately, that Force makes it hard to convey to someone else. Many say the silence in the head makes its presence known but even that is not very useful. We can be robotic with little to no commentary in the head, just as sometimes amazing truths get narrated in our head that are not generated by conditioned mind. As I pondered the contrast “limitation” and “abundance” popped into my head: “you see limitation/abundance” (ucla).

Stay with that observation. Lose the limitations and open up to abundance when you encounter it. Conditioned mind is always limited in nature while the higher dimension of being always brings abundance. We are the entity who spots the difference! I do not claim that I am always connected to Consciousness—the eternal being inducing creation—but it helps to have pointers that sound an alarm when we have fallen asleep once again. UCLA! Our son goes there. That should be an easy one to remember.
