Do you hear the laughter in the hallway?

Momentary events come before me in rapid succession. They exist because of me, yet they are definitely not me or mine. I am not subject to anyone. I am completely independent. I am beyond. See me where there is no desire or fear.

Nisargadatta Maharaj

When a colleague at work gave the retirement speech for his boss, he said something beautiful. “Deborah always had her ear out for laughter in the hallway.” What an amazing insight! When you have a boss who is keen on having creative and joyful interactions of her team members productivity and well -being is bound to be plentiful.

The Tao Te Ching describes the Way of the Meister perfectly: “Therefore the Master acts without doing anything and teaches without saying anything. Things arise and she lets them come; things disappear, and she lets them go. She has but doesn’t possess, acts but doesn’t expect. When her work is done, she forgets it. That is why it lasts forever.”

In Awareness the eternal Buddha eyes manifest creation as it is meant to be. Nisargadatta Maharaj describes the role we play in creation perfectly, without desires or aversions, with no self to speak of getting in the Way we act without doing anything. The Meister is more than being an observer, s(he) is an eternal being allowing creation to unfold. Do you hear the laughter in the hallway?
