Every moment—mundane or blessed—is welcome

We are awake already. It’s the falling back into conditioned mind that we can be mindful of. I am equally happy with the mundane moment as well as the state of Grace. The one intellectual curiosity I have is to discover how we can consistently get our arms around the rascal that demands our attentionego, the fellow who “edges God out”. God always speaks for Herself. I don’t need to aspire for that divine connection. Just to be mindful of the Signs that always surround me.

There is something interesting about the state of Grace. It’s non-addictive. It’s the most beautiful feeling in the world, but when we slip out of it we also don’t mind. It’s like an orgasmic afterglow. Every moment, mundane or blessed, is welcome. Even the times when our conditioning take over once again has their moments. I can always hear a voice popping up in my head. “Here we go again.” Come to think of it, every moment is blessed for after the slumber we rise again.
