When the self finally exposes itself

In the movie “The Full Monty movie”, a group of unemployed steel workers want to earn money by performing male striptease on stage. One participant was so embarrassed by the notion of going nude that he always in the last minute ran up a wall to show off his backflip instead, but without fail ended up falling on his back.

The quest for enlightenment is just that, a total exposure of all the inner programs that run us and letting go of them. Yet, the fictional character embodying these programs refuses and tries all kind of escapes to avoid this showdown. Each time we come near to exposing the inner robot a new escape route is presented.

When can we break through? When the embodiment of all thought programs and conditioning pretending to be us is recognized and looked through. The escape routes are presented but we do not engage. That’s when the curtain falls.
