He who fails to keep turning
the wheel thus set in motion
has damaged the working of the world
and has wasted his life, Arjuna.
But the man who delights in the Self,
who feels pure contentment and finds
perfect peace in the Self—
for him, there is no need to act.
(Lord Krishna, Bhagavad Gita)
Passion and purpose were given to us. Everyone has access to them. Your uniqueness matters in the fabric of Oneness, but a little work may be necessary to make an imprint. This effort has been subconsciously designed to get the stuff that you may not be even aware of presently out to the surface.
In the state of “Awareness is” effort is no longer required. We may work hard, or we may sit on the park bench feeding birds, it doesn’t matter to our inner feeling of abundance. The world acts through us. There is no self around to take action or ownership of the outcomes. We are the world when “Awareness is” prevails.
