Never mind the rat-race

 My son informed me that one of the students from one of the top boarding schools in Massachusetts has committed suicide over the issue that he didn’t get into the Ivy League colleges. He knew him from prior golf tournaments they played together at. God has been kind to our family in that our boys could/can choose from some good schools, but I have seen the rat race firsthand. Even my wife is disappointed that he didn’t get admitted to Harvard or Princeton and “only” made it into UC Berkeley. Well, our son is happy and that’s all that matters. What are we doing to our kids? There must be another way. Find a way to avoid the rat-race. There is always another way. That’s the teaching of spirituality. Let go of all the mind-made struggles and the Way opens up,
