A friend once said to me that in one stage of her kundalini energy expansion it felt as if there as was a hole drilled into her brain; not quite as graphic and painful as this image suggests of course, more as a subtle energy path that was being laid. I don’t know how this energy expansion practically happens. I also believe some of our friends are already born with these pathways and never experience any physical discomfort along the spiritual ascension. What is importantly to stress though, there is a second circuit running outside of the conditioned feeling-thought network. Sometimes when I feel a personal story is trying to get a hold of me, I just fall back into this energy circuit and the voice in the head and the heavy feeling vanish in a blink of an eye.
