The ego reads. The ego wants something, otherwise we wouldn’t be reading, right? The ego is the distortion. Embarking on the quest Home you will never find what you are looking for. The interference has no interest in leaving you whatsoever. I can write until the cows come home, be still instead and know that you are Home.
I searched everywhere for the insight that would set me free. I knew that I was close but I just couldn’t find find it. Then one day it just hit me, the very quest for enlightenment is the problem that keeps me bound. I am already free, but the interference that keeps me from enjoying it is searching for freedom. The ego is trying to square the circle!
There comes a day when God removes the blinders for us. No one can tell when, and no one knows what insight triggers the feeling of finally being Home. That’s the beauty of the quest, we all come from 7.6 billion vantage points. The day of reaching freedom will happen to everyone because it is us who are holding the blinders up.
J. Krishnamurti described the Power of Now in so many words. Helen Schucman’s channeled Voice told her that love is the miracle. My message is that the ego undertakes the quest for God and that the quest therefore futile. Everyone has a slightly different spin because everyone has tasted freedom slightly differently.
What’s your message?
