Your attitude to a problem determines your success

Most people after they state their issues, they will wait for an answer. They wait for the teachers to tell them what to do and want to know if there is any better way to deal with their problems, but they will not learn. When you act like this, you don’t show respect but rather reveal your dependence.  When you have respect, you will pay close attention and your attitude will be different.  Certainly the outcome will be different.

The attitude in which you ask questions also reflect your attitude about life and your issues.  If you cannot see your attitude, you will be stuck there.  When you have the attitude to solve the issue, you dive into the issues at hand. If you truly want to understand your problem, you will get out of it.  Then you can really solve the issue.  These two cases are very different.  So how you ask the question decides the outcome.

Respect is to care, but not just trying to get rid of your issue.  So the other meaning for respecting your issue is, allowing pain and happiness exist at the same time. When you have this attitude, the issue will be half solved. To respect is not to respect your teacher, but to respect the issue that you are facing, and then you will take it seriously.

Respect the issue that you are dealing with. This attitude will help you pay attention to your issue with fullest attention. When you have this attitude you won’t develop dependence.  Your attitude decides the outcome for you.  If you just casually ask the question and wait for others to save you, then you won’t touch the truth.
