Mind your mind, that’s the message of spirituality.
It sounds so simple, but is it really so easy?
Those who say they do it, either fool you or themselves.
When Eckhart Tolle says, you are the one listening,
then at best a spiritual intellect is at work.
With pure consciousness, no thoughts are running.
The story of the scorpion and the holy man goes,
he picks it up to prevent drowning, and the scorpion stings.
When asked why, he responds we both do what we have to.
There is only one spiritual certainty—that’s the power of now.
With Grace, enjoy the ride, and otherwise ask who interferes.
The scorpion stings to encourage the man to drop his holiness.
