Velcro Vision

 I had an interesting vision. I was awake and saw all my attachments, desires, likes dislikes extending like strings. I had the option to engage, but somehow, they didn’t stick. I was able to navigate around them without pushing any buttons so to speak. It was as if the conditioned “I” was somehow external to me, yet I clearly existed as a free being. The vision is gone now. Today I am as free or as bound as any day. A strange but insightful vision. Maybe it is in our power to let go of desire just by letting go of sticky attachments the way we remove Velcro strips.
