Have you observed that sometimes when we talk with someone, our body acts as a form of vessel. It allows communication but otherwise is not perceived at all. But then, suddenly we are hungry or tired, and our body sends us clear signals to eat or sleep.
Likewise, there are these moments when “I am” prevails. We are embedded in a tapestry of people, actions and events. We are merged in the wholeness of being without having an “I” identification present. But then, the personal moments catch up with us where we have a personal agenda.
What then is the witnessing state? It’s an in-between state, neither the “I am” nor the identification state. With more available freedom to respond and not instinctively react. The inner observer also claims that it has access to the “I am” state; does it? Is “I am” prevailing, or does the “you” feel spiritual?
