The free will paradox

 Forever and truly free,

the single witness of all things;

but if you see yourself as separate

then you are bound.

If there is a “me” there will be a feeling of having a free will for that is what personhood is all about, the necessity of making a decision when faced with life’s choices. Yet, by definition there is no pure free will because the “me” is conditioned as every scientist will tell you.

When we are free of the clinging energy of “me, myself and I” choice-less awareness prevails, yet, free will is meaningless in this state because Oneness rules and there is no person to decide anything other than showing up for life as is. Creation calls the shots, and we show up for the ride.

How to get from the illusion of having personal freedom to choice-less awareness? Well, how to get from here to “There” realizing that “There” is here now? One day the simplicity of the problem statement may shine through, meanwhile rest assured that whether we are part of the mystery or part of the illusion, creation prevails.
