There was a man who was incredibly superstitious; every Friday the 13th he took a vacation day and stayed in bed because he believed that surely bad things would happen to him on such an ill-fated day. One day he met a wise woman who happened to practice numerology as well. She told him that one has to add numbers to get their true spiritual meaning: the sum of 13 happens to be 4 - God's secret number that symbolizes the harmony of the universe.
Since that day our man always lived each Friday the 13th to the fullest. Objectively things still kind of went wrong that day, but he always looked for the silver lining in every event and for him these days became a symbol of beginning and rebirth.
What is the moral of the story? You might not be able to change life events the way you think, but you can always wrap your meaning around it and use every situation as a jump board on your journey.
