Artist of Life

Nothing real can be threatened,
nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
(A Course in Miracles)

You are the creator of your destiny. You are literally living in a thought matrix that manifests your conscious and subconscious drives. When you observe yourself for a while you will see that there is no continuity to the personality structure that you have manufactured for yourself. Your experienced "I" is like a wheel that spins freely, and given how you are primed by life's events, your observed "reality" is sometimes created by your ego, your soul longings, your parental or societal influences, your genetic or biological imprints, or by your God-connection.

So what will you do with this information? Will you simply shrug your shoulders and continue the way you have thus far? Will you follow "The Secret" folks to use these laws to your advantage and try to manifest abundance in your life? Or will you throw up your hands and let life mold you by steadily dropping your agenda and merge with the Way? There is actually no right or wrong, there is only your path. Just do whatever feels right and see what happens.

The peace the Course in Miracles talks about is always nearby. Your personal matrix is embedded in the divine Being, and for a lack of a better word, let's call this Force the Tao, or simply the Way. Sometimes your personal agenda goes against the Way and that is when you have to run in order to stay in place. Sometimes your personal agenda and the Way coincide and you can simply go with the flow and enjoy life; while sometimes you are simply twirled back and forth in the whirlwind of conflicting forces and events.

A spiritual path is all about dropping your personal agenda and let your Self steer you through life's events while the self moves happily along because it feels good to be walking the Way. But how exactly you accomplish this feat is a philosophy of sorts. Many paths lead Home as we know. The Tao Te Ching encourages you to perceive the laws of the Way in life's events. The Course in Miracles invites you to find love in all your interactions, both actual love, as well as the disappointed cry for love. The Bhagavad Gita asks you to discover how your soul mission in fact lines up perfectly with life's demands and the Way.

A spiritual traveler is an artist of life. Discover the real peace where many others only have eyes for their personal agendas. Spot the Way, recognize love and simply get your soul mission done with. Along the Way you are the creator of your destiny that has been completed already. Just like an artist you just manifest what is already there. May peace be with you!
