Comparative Religions and Numerology

You can never choose except between God and the ego.
(A Course in Miracles)

The number 1 stands for the Daughter of God.
Two stands for love, the merging of two lovers.
Three stands for the Holy Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, or alternatively, God's Mind (Father), God's Heart (Christ) and God's Creation (Holy Spirit).

God's Kingdom is 4. There is something important missing in the Holy Trinity - You! There is God's Mind accessible to all of us, as it is so beautifully illustrated in the "Bhagavad Gita". There is God's Heart ever-present, as so magnificently expressed in the Message of the Christ. And there is God's Creation, as so brilliantly articulated by Lao Tsu in the "Tao Te Ching"; and there is You, God's own Daughter.

We perceive glimpses of God's Kingdom. but we are still caught in illusion. Half human, half God; driven by karmic forces and soul longings beyond our conscious control; misguided by our ego, we stumble along. So the additional dimension that we perceive - life - is nothing but a projection of something that is not real. Life's number is 5. If we transcend the fog, we gain enlightenment. It is not easy to dismantle the walls we build around ourselves. We want to think like God, but our ego's endless chatter stands in the way. We want to feel the love of the Christ, but our distorted vision makes that hard to feel in our perceived "real" world. We want to to see God's Creation, but we trample on the diamonds in front of us by running after the gold that glitters on the horizon. In short, we are the Daughter of God but our ego, instincts and karma keep us from claiming our birthright.

Awakening means to step out of the fog.  We can be one with God's Mind; we can be one with God's Heart and experience Her infinite Love, and we can experience divinity in the magic of the moment - the Way. Eventually the fog will lift.  Just as they say many roads lead to Rome, many Ways lead us Home. If you are a believer, let the faith of Psalm 23 (The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want) carry you Home. It is no coincident that Psalm 23 adds to 5 - the number of life. Misled by ego or not, driven by instincts or the wheels of karma or not, you provide the love (2) and the Holy Trinity (3) will set you free.

God loves all Her children equally, believers as much as agnostics. There is a different way to leave the maya behind, even if you don't believe in God. Embrace life to its fullest and let your instincts, your drives and karma run their course. Embrace your passions, burn your soul longings one by one. Be a player, a movie director, a billionaire and a homeless; be Romeo and Juliet, Casanova, and a broken-hearted widow. Rise, fall, break, be broken, conquer and submit. Let life happen, experience the feeling of "been there, done that"; look up, and discover the Way!
