Traveling the WAY with Courage, Humor and Grace

One day she finally grasped that unexpected things were always going to happen in life, and with that she realized the only control she had was how she chose to handle them. So she made the decision to survive using courage, humor and grace. She was the queen of her own life and the choice was hers. (Lupytha Hermin)

I have given up assuming that I can autonomously shape my life, but I am also not helplessly drifting from wave to wave in an unruly sea. As always, the truth is somewhere in the middle. The feeling of "helplessness" only applies to the mind that wants something. Yes, there is power in experiencing life as is. Follow the WAY and life will catapult you into your desired direction, eventually. You just have to be willing and able to take a few unexpected turns.

I love the above mentioned quote but would switch the word "survive" with "thrive" instead. Life is designed to bring us HOME, but until that blessed day when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, use courage, humor and grace along the WAY.
