(A Course in Miracles)
You have probably heard the play on words, ‘be here now’ or be nowhere. The Course in Miracles quote reminded me of this simple Zen insight. The Gospel of Christ is the dualistic version of the Zen premise, ‘it is as it is, and as is, is somehow perfectly imperfect!’. Be captured in the Now and your mind stands still and you cannot help but being GOD’s instrument. Life flows through you just as GOD intended to in the holy Now. The Gospel of Christ says that duality can be perceived and responded to. Every moment is a chance to see GOD’s Kingdom and act accordingly. As it turns out, Zen and the Gospel amount to the same thing if we manage to show up and face life moment by moment.
