Why do we want to distract ourselves all the time? Why do we want to escape from what we fear we are all about deep inside? The cornerstone of the castle our ego has built is pretty dark. As a matter of fact, there is a hole there—a void—making the entire ego pretty structure unstable. Be still and face the void. What do you encounter?

All these states and characteristic—loneliness, emptiness, boredom, ennui—are nothing but a façade. They are like bubbles in fact. They burst into nothingness when you face them. LEBE is all that is left, German for live! Have the guts to face what is deep inside and you will find life there.

Under a veneer of nothingness there is everything we ever dreamed off. The ego’s castle vanishes into nothingness once we are ready to look. Face the void and meet life!
