The soul wants what it wants

In a neurological experiment scientists discovered to their surprise that somehow ‘our system’ knows a decision before the conscious mind is aware of it. We spiritual folks are probably less surprised. We have visions; we follow our hunches; we see the signs of the Way and react accordingly. ‘The system’ always knows and we can Awaken to that knowledge.

The soul wants what it wants. Our life story has been decided before we were born. We attracted our parents, our friends and foes, and our soul mates beforehand and agreed to act out this script together. Successes and failures, heart breaks and love stories were all destined to happen and have prepared us for this moment at hand. What exactly you do with that information is up to you.

Forgiving comes easy in this world. Everything has been meant to be. Forgive yourself, and forgive the folks who hurt you in the past. Your soul wanted this experience. You needed the past to set you up for this divine moment. What to do now? Start living! Enjoy the moment no matter what the circumstances. Forgive, love, manifest what your heart desires.

When we fall in love, we really fall in love with the soul. We remember facial expressions, meaningful statements, or special moments. Our memories are poets and story-tellers, not historians. We feel that we get what the soul journey of our loved one is all about. Sometimes we know our love better than she knows herself. Likewise, along a spiritual journey we also fall in love with our own story.

Do we have the ‘freedom’ to manifest a completely new story today? Absolutely! But then, was this moment of breaking free predetermined? Well, yes. You were meant to find this note today. You set yourself up to Awaken one day, and just maybe this moment is here and now. The word ‘soul’ is often capitalized in our spiritual community. It’s a divine code or sorts. A predetermined path to guide us Home while respecting our personal choices. Our souls wants what it wants.
