see what is seen by a 'me';
I alone can speak, but I don't
say what is said by a 'me';
I alone function, but I don't
do what is done by a 'me'.
I AM, but there is no 'me'
or 'you' or 'him' or 'her'.

Martin Buber had an unitive experience when he looked a horse in the eye. This experience inspired him to write ‘I and Thou’, in which he tried sharing his moment of Awakening. We all had these satori moments. When we are awestruck by the beauty of the moment and our thoughts stand still. We look at the magnificence before us, but we realize that there is more to the viewing experience of us seeing an object. We are part of the landscape, the Beyond is watching Its own creation through us so to speak. We also have these moments when we feel the person we interact with just like she was part of us. There are the times when we become aware of our agenda and realize that it is just a feeling, a thought, a viewpoint.
We can have these unitive experiences all the time. ‘Enlightenment’ is not something you need to read about in books, or admire in other people, it is a unitive experience here and now. Just look, listen and feel!
