The hope of psychology in the early days was that we could uncover what lies beneath with scientific methods and our rational mind. Of course we can’t. We will always be full of biases, conditioning and the priming of our environment. How could we ever step out of it, experience and experiencer are One. True freedom and true authenticity is more like an on-off switch, either you have it at the moment in hand or not. Think of your authentic self as a prism. When you are free and your true self, the light is flowing through you in the here and now without your involvement. Your authentic nature that determines the color of the reflection. Enjoy the spectacle of light.
