Presence

 There is a Presence within that is. There is no need to capitalize this expression, other than indicating that we are either part of that force or not, and there is nothing really—no methodology, no striving, no praying—that can connect us. Yet, when we are part of Presence it feels as simple as breathing. Like a radio transmitter, we just have to be there, and this force runs through us.

 

When Presence is, the story of me is not. Thoughts are absent yet the mind is fully alert. Sensitivity reigns when Presence is, and there is an equanimity of mind. Let life go as it does. We are willing onlookers ready to do our part when we are called. I once had a vision that I was sitting next to the river of knowledge and I was too content to move in order to drink from it. Knowledge comes on a need-to-know basis.
