Truth is a pathless land but on this path no effort is wasted

 Spiritual literature, working with a guru, meditation, renunciation, doing God’s work, you name it—no matter what we do, there is always a subject with the desire to be without desire behind it, which is an impossibility. Yet, at the heart of the problem to get from here to There, which turns out to be here, and thus requires no effort at all, is a subconscious that stores countless beliefs and conditioning which created this entity “me.” The irrational subconscious honors our attempt at purification even when “logically” doing to become being makes no sense at all.

 

Truth as a pathless land is realized when the entire energy system shifts from personal identification to universal energy. S (tillness) of mind, E (nergy) that penetrates our crown chakra, L (ove) as flowing heart energy and the universal F (low)of life free of our personal identification—SELF—replaces our familiar self identification that wants to merge with the higher vibrations. Vivekananda once told the story of a naked man who ran around a holy tree believing that this would unify him with God. God passed by and asked him what he was doing and informed him that it would take him ten more lifetimes to be successful with this approach, but the young man kept running anyway. That moment he was free. That’s the power of belief when coupled with Grace.
